Getting Ready to Party

My daughter is going to be one in April, and so I am getting some ideas together.

I am getting some paper together to make a banner.

This is a great idea for a month-by-month banner.

This princess party gave amazing gift bags!

This is Martha Stewart’s pom poms.  I was planning on making a dozen and hanging them in the corners of the room.

So, I am not a fan of the bride and groom’s hand shots that photographers have been doing since, well at least the ruffled tux days.  Now you are seeing a ton of ring shots and I have to say I do love these.

Keep in Mind

A great book review on Living with Lindsay. The author gives helpful tips for any home.I love this color scheme of mustard and a green/grey color. Also, great that they put a light rug under a dark sofa (if it were a light sofa, a dark rug should be used) to make the space warm.

Pillows don't all need to match. Group a few pairs together. And a great chocolate wall color too!
